Contact Us On December 31, 2023, Federal Student Aid launched a soft opening of the 2024-25 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form at studentaid.gov. Visit studentaid.gov/announcements-events/fafsa-support for more information on what to expect during the soft launch. Please be patient as you complete the 2024-25 FAFSA as there may be intermittent pauses for site maintenance. If you visit the site during a pause, check back later to access the form. Murray State University will not receive student FAFSA information until late January or early February 2024. Students and families should use Murray State code 001977 when completing the FAFSA. Please ensure you have completed your admission application to Murray State University at murraystate.edu/apply. Note that the 2024-25 general scholarship deadline is February 5. We strongly encourage you to apply for admission by January 22 in order to allow time for completing the scholarship application. Completing the FAFSA is a very important step in being ‘Racer Ready’ for the 2024-25 school year. Check out some of these Racers who are "Home for the Holidays."     Registration is now open for the Discover Diversity Leadership Summit at Murray State University which will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The Summit be a multicultural gathering of high school seniors that have been admitted to Murray State and high school juniors from across Kentucky and surrounding states. The focus of the Summit will be on leadership development and learning effective strategies to elevate leadership skills to help students successfully navigate our constantly changing educational, political and social environments. General Scholarship application deadline is February 5, 2024 at 12 p.m. CT Murray State offered a record $127 million in financial aid and scholarships, based on our most recent reports, with 99 percent of first-year students receiving financial aid or scholarships.
