Message from our Admissions Counselor

I hope your fall semester is off to a great start! My name is Arturo Lopez, the new Out-of-State Admissions Counselor! Here are some UT Martin updates for Fall 22.

 

  • Test-Flexible Admissions: For Fall 2022, we will again admit students to UT Martin without ACT scores if they have at least a 3.0 weighted GPA. An ACT or SAT is strongly encouraged for students to be eligible for merit scholarships and prior to enrollment for course placement. We start awarding scholarships November 1. We will have a limited number of competitive scholarships for students who do not submit test scores, but students have a better chance of getting more money by submitted scores. Our scholarships start at a 3.0 GPA and 20 ACT super score, and the chart is available at www.utm.edu/scholarships.


 

  

  • Campus Tours: We are offering in-person tours Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Students can sign up at www.utm.edu/tour.

  . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
