  Fall 2025 Application Now Open:  Our application launched July 1, 2025, and students can apply via our  web site  or the Common App. We will be waiving our application fee during  Free Application Week  September 15-19, 2025, and we have need-based application  fee waivers  available anytime.   ACT Science Update:  With the Science portion now optional on the National ACT, UT Martin will superscore students’ ACT results both with and without the Science portion, using whichever yields the higher score for admissions and scholarships. Here are some UT Martin updates for Fall 22.   Test-Flexible Admissions:  For Fall 2022, we will again admit students to UT Martin without ACT scores if they have at least a 3.0 weighted GPA. An ACT or SAT is strongly encouraged for students to be eligible for merit scholarships and prior to enrollment for course placement. We start awarding scholarships November 1. We will have a limited number of competitive scholarships for students who do not submit test scores, but students have a better chance of getting more money by submitted scores. Our scholarships start at a 3.0 GPA and 20 ACT super score, and the chart is available at  www.utm.edu/scholarships .   Admissions Counselor Virtual Meetings:  Your students can set up one-on-one meetings with me around their schedules. Students need ACT or SAT scores on file in order to be eligible for a scholarship. We super score the ACT and SAT, and we will take scores on transcripts, directly from you (counselors), or from the testing agencies.
