Morehead State University

Hello my name is Amanda Maynard and I am the enrollment services counselor at Morehead State University serving your school. 

Morehead State University has now become test blind and we are telling all of our students that are applying to Morehead State at this time. When they apply we will still need their transcripts, but only for GPA purposes. With that being said we are still looking at ACT scores for Merit Based Scholarship opportunities and placement into certain classes.

 


I encourage students to visit campus. We offer campus visits Monday-Friday in the morning and afternoon – (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday include an academic department meeting). To schedule a campus visit, please have students visit our website www.moreheadstate.edu/visit Student visitors are able to apply for admission FREE of charge, meet one-on-one with faculty members, tour campus, visit our wellness and recreation center, see beautiful Eagle Lake, and more! 

 


We offer automatic academic scholarships based on GPA and ACT composite. As you will find, these have a priority deadline of March 15 (there is no additional application for these). Our Diversity Opportunity and Honors Program Scholarship deadline will be December 1, and require an additional application. All scholarship information can be found at www.moreheadstate.edu/Affording-College/Scholarships/In-State-Scholarships. Our Foundation awards should be available in November and students can apply at www.moreheadstate.edu/scholarships. 

 

For information regarding pre-college curriculum requirements – specifically foreign language credits – please visit http://www.moreheadstate.edu/success/College-Readiness/Pre-College-Curriculum-Requirements. If a student has not met the PPC requirements, they can still be admitted but will be required to complete those in their first year.

  . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
