Transylvania: New 1780 Guarantee

New 1780 Guarantee meets
FULL TUITION & FEES
to eligible Kentucky students

We are excited to announce the expansion of a new program that will provide greater access to Transy's liberal arts education for students across Kentucky:
The 1780 Guarantee.

The 1780 Guarantee assures full tuition and fees are covered for eligible Kentucky residents who are admitted as first-time, first-year students for Fall 2023, have a minimum 3.3 high school GPA, and qualify for a Federal Pell Grant

Though originally offered to students in Fayette and
adjacent Central Kentucky counties, the University recognized the significant financial impact it could have if extended to families across the Commonwealth.

"We are excited to expand this opportunity to the entire state of Kentucky," said Sarah Coen, vice president of strategic initiatives and enrollment management. "Given the excitement since we announced it and the growing need for this type of program, we ultimately decided that expanding this was in the best interest of the Kentucky families we serve".

Students must apply for admission by the Early Action I Deadline of
October 31 for consideration and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which will become available on October 1.

They can use Transy's FAFSA ID #001987.

You can read more details about next steps and eligibility for the 1780 Guarantee on our website .
