Registration is now open for the Discover Diversity Leadership Summit at Murray State University which will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024. The Summit be a multicultural gathering of high school seniors that have been admitted to Murray State and high school juniors from across Kentucky and surrounding states. The focus of the Summit will be on leadership development and learning effective strategies to elevate leadership skills to help students successfully navigate our constantly changing educational, political and social environments. Students will attend sessions, meet alumni, professors and current students and explore the Murray State campus.

Racer Days are open house style visits where students have the opportunity to meet the Office of Recruitment & Transfer Center staff, professors and student organization representatives. Students will also have the opportunity to meet with Financial Aid and Scholarship office staff. Campus tours will be available at the close of the event. Plus, if you haven't done so already, students will have the opportunity to complete the on-site admission experience, so don't forget bring your official transcript and test scores.

Ready. Set...almost ready to go! The 2024-2025 FAFSA is set to open by December 31, 2023! A FSA ID is required for both students and parents in order to complete a FAFSA online. It can take up to two weeks to verify each FSA ID. Get a head start by setting up your FSA ID at StudentAid.gov.

Our   First Time Freshman Guide   also details step-by-step information about any incoming first year student’s next steps.   . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
