Murray State University April 2026 update

 


  • We are officially one week out from our Scholarship Acceptance Deadline (Friday, May 1st!) -- students can access their Scholarship Portal through their myGate Account. If they have any issues accessing their account, they can call our Service Desk at 270-809-2346 (hours are M-F 8:00-4:30). 
  • Racer Nation Orientation registration is open and I would recommend students register sooner rather than later as we have reached capacity in several of our sessions! If a student needs help with this registration, please do not hesitate to reach out - I am more than happy to take a phone call to walk a student through this.

  . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
