Greetings from the University of Louisville.

We want to share with you important updates concerning the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We recently learned there will be additional delays from the U.S. Department of Education, and we won’t receive student data until mid-March at the earliest. We want to work with your students to help make this process as stress-free as possible.  

  • If they have not already done so, please encourage your students to file the 2024-2025 FAFSA as soon as possible to maximize the amount of aid they can receive from UofL. 
  • We will alert students and families when we receive the FAFSA results. Again, we will not receive data until mid-March at the earliest. Your students will receive a confirmation email when we have received their FAFSA data and are working on their financial aid offer. 
  • We anticipate sending financial aid offers to admitted students within 3-4 weeks of receiving the FAFSA data. If there are further delays, we will send a notification.
  • We will offer flexibility with our enrollment deposit. We want your students to have time to consider all your financial aid options before making a decision. While we encourage your admitted students to deposit by May 1, 2024, we will continue to work with students past May 1.

  . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
