UT Martin August 2025


 

  • Fall 2025 Application Now Open: Our application launched July 1, 2025, and students can apply via our web site or the Common App. We will be waiving our application fee during Free Application Week September 15-19, 2025, and we have need-based application fee waivers available anytime.

 

  • ACT Science Update: With the Science portion now optional on the National ACT, UT Martin will superscore students’ ACT results both with and without the Science portion, using whichever yields the higher score for admissions and scholarships. Please remind students we need all individual test scores with subscores to calculate their superscores.

 

  • Transcripts and Test Scores may be sent via Slate, your preferred electronic transcript service, or emailed directly to admissions@utm.edu.

 

  • Housing: We have reached housing capacity this fall and expect the same for next year. The Housing application for Fall 2026 will open October 1, 2025, and students must be accepted to apply for Housing. We typically admit students within one week of receiving their applications, transcripts, and test scores, but we do experience some delays during Free App Week due to the volume of applications received. Early application is crucial for students wanting specific housing assignments! The $50 housing deposit is fully refundable until July 1, 2026.

 

  • Fall Preview Days: We have two Preview Days this fall, Saturday, October 4 and Saturday, November 1. Students can sign up at: www.utm.edu/preview

 

  • Campus Tours: We offer in-person campus tours Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and are open for group tours several days throughout the week at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Students can sign up online: www.utm.edu/tour, and group tours can also be reserved at the same web site.

The Accuplacer is a course placement test given by the College Board that academic advisors will use to place the student into a math or English course.   . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
