- Fall 2027 Application Now Open: Our application launched July 1, 2026, and students can apply via our website or the Common App. We will be waiving our application fee during Free Application Week September 14-18, 2026, and we have need-based application fee waivers available anytime. The website application is preferred and can be found at www.utm.edu/apply This application will ensure that students are admitted and able to apply for housing on Oct. 1st.
- Transcripts and Test Scores may be sent via Slate, your preferred electronic transcript service, or emailed directly to admissions@utm.edu.
- UT Promise The UT Promise application opened on September 1 and will close on December 15th. Use this link to apply: tennessee.edu. Last dollar scholarships are awarded to students who complete the application, qualify for HOPE lottery, meet income requirements, and complete 8 hours of community service. Please let us know if your students need more information or need assistance.
- Housing: We almost reached housing capacity this fall and expect the same for next year. The Housing application for Fall 2027 will open October 1, 2026, and students must be accepted to apply for Housing. We typically admit students within one week of receiving their applications, transcripts, and test scores, but we do experience some delays during Free App Week due to the volume of applications received. Early application is crucial for students wanting specific housing assignments! The $50 housing deposit is fully refundable until July 1, 2027.
- Fall Preview Days: We have two Preview Days this fall, Saturday, September 26 and Saturday, November 7. Students can sign up at: www.utm.edu/preview
- Campus Tours: We offer in-person campus tours Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and are open for group tours several days throughout the week at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Students can sign up online: www.utm.edu/tour, and group tours can also be reserved at the same website.
NEW EVENTS! Tailgate Tours and Future Skyhawk Roadshows
We invite your students to join us for a campus tour and a home football game on Saturday, Oct 17. We'll show them around campus, offer them and 2 guests complimentary tickets to the game, and lunch. This event will be in conjunction with Family Weekend, so the atmosphere will be fun and give students a great glimpse at student life. Tailgate Tour | UT Martin

Student Highlights! Two UTM students recently took on impressive internships as part of our campus wide experiential learning efforts. Great things are also happening outside the classrooms!
Lastly, we hosted UT President, Randy Boyd, in pregame fun at our annual Skyhawk Palooza, an event that kicks off the UTM football season. It's always a great day to be a Skyhawk!
