U of L Cardinal Commitment Grant

 

Greetings from the University of Louisville, 

The University of Louisville is excited to offer the Cardinal Commitment Grantan opportunity for Kentucky students to receive a last-dollar scholarship*, covering tuition until the student's first bachelor’s degree is earned, to UofL

We are proud to offer this grant to Kentucky students who file the 22-23 FAFSA, are Pell Grant eligible, and have demonstrated success in the classroom. Students must be a Kentucky resident and have at least a 3.25 cumulative weighted GPA. This award will be offered to first-year students planning to enroll full-time at UofL in fall 2022.

To be considered for the Cardinal Commitment Grant, students must complete the following:

  • Apply to the University of Louisville by March 1. No essays or letters of recommendation are required and ACT/SAT score submission is optional. 

  • No application fee for students on free and reduced lunch.

  • Submit all required materials, including an official high school transcript, by March 7. Students who have already applied can view any missing materials using their Application Gateway.
  • File the 22-23 FAFSA by March 7.

Students who are currently admitted and have already filed the 22-23 FAFSA will be considered for the Cardinal Commitment Grant and notified if they are eligible.
