University of Louisville Upcoming Events

The University of Louisville has many upcoming events and important dates this fall that we encourage you to share with your students. 

  • If your students have questions about scholarships or guaranteed entrance programs, we are hosting a Facebook Live on Tuesday, October 11, 7-8 p.m. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A from our admissions and guaranteed entrance representatives.
  • Cardinal Preview Day is on Saturday, October 15. This full-day campus experience includes an information fair, open houses, workshops and more. We encourage students and families to register for the event, although walk-ins are welcome at any time during the day.
  • Public Health Preview Day is Saturday, October 22. The School of Public Health and Information Sciences (SPHIS) will offer a first-hand look into their program.
  • Nursing Open House is Tuesday, November 1. This event will allow prospective students and families the opportunity to experience high-tech classrooms, simulation lab tours and more.
  • STEM+H Day is Monday, November 7. Prospective students and families will observe classes, take part in an information fair, receive a campus tour and visit the HSC campus.

PS: The Honors Early Action Deadline has been moved from October 15 to November 1 for students applying for Fall 2023. Students must apply to UofL before this date to be able to apply for University Honors within their Application Gateway. By applying before this deadline, students will receive the decision before the end of November. The final Honors application deadline is December 15.

  . Hello counselors and greetings from the University of Kentucky!  September is an exciting month for the University of Kentucky! We have some key updates to share from our campus:   ADMISSION We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve begun sending out admission decisions for students who have completed their applications. If your student’s application is fully submitted and meets our criteria, they can receive your admission decision in as little as two weeks. We operate on a rolling basis throughout the year. Accepted students will receive electronic notification through their applicant portal, followed by an admission packet in the mail.
