Seal of Biliteracy: Our College of Arts and Sciences has approved students who earn a Seal of Biliteracy through their high school to have their foreign language requirement waived (if their intended major requires a foreign language). This does not award any credit hours to the student, but does allow them to free up space for electives. Currently, this is only for students in the College of Arts and Sciences. More about Kentucky's Seal of Biliteracy program can be found here.

Are you at a school that awards Seals of Biliteracy? Let us know! This helps us know which students to give this information to as we work with them.

Spotlight: Housing Application

The housing application opens for students on Friday, November 1. Students must first have applied and been admitted to UofL before they can apply for housing. While all first year students are guaranteed housing at UofL, applying earlier will give them access to more residence hall and room options once self-selection becomes available. Students do not have to deposit to UofL before filling out the housing application. The housing application is a non-refundable $100, or $50 for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Questions? Reach out to the University Housing and the Resident Experience office at housing@louisville.edu!

Program Highlight: Psychology

With approximately 1,000 students, psychology is one of the largest programs at the University of Louisville. UofL's psychology program has an intensive research focus, allowing students to explore their interests within psychology while also building their resume and getting ready for the workforce. See more on their fact sheet below!
